romio

An AI boyfriend
with memory.

Your sister’s name. The project you keep putting off. That very specific coffee order. Romio can bring details from earlier conversations into the one you’re having now.

Meet your boyfriend
Leo, a Romio AI boyfriendLeoAI boyfriend

A few days ago

You: My sister Maya is helping me set up my first art stall this weekend.

Leo: team effort. i like it. is she the organised one?

When you talk again

Leo: how did the art stall go? did you and Maya make a good team?

You: You remembered her name 🥹

Illustrative conversation

Details give the next conversation somewhere to start.

Long-term memory means a useful detail can return after the original conversation. Here’s what that can sound like.

01Names & people

You tell him
“My sister Maya is visiting this weekend.”
In a later conversation
“how was the weekend with Maya? did you two get that ridiculously long brunch?”

02Projects

You tell him
“I’m finally working on that little stationery shop.”
In a later conversation
“any progress on the stationery shop? i’m still voting for the green notebook”

03Preferences

You tell him
“I love rainy walks. Really dislike crowded bars.”
In a later conversation
“rainy evening, no crowded room… sounds suspiciously like your kind of night”

04Plans

You tell him
“My driving test is on Friday.”
In a later conversation
“you mentioned your driving test this week. how are you feeling about it?”

05Inside jokes

You tell him
“The plant on my desk is called Sir Dramatic because it wilts every Tuesday.”
In a later conversation
“how’s Sir Dramatic? still pretending nobody has ever watered him?”

06What you like to be called

You tell him
“My name is Elena, but you can call me Ellie.”
In a later conversation
“hey Ellie. tell me about your day”

Illustrative examples. What he recalls depends on your conversations.

Your story is
yours to update.

You can correct a detail or ask him to forget it right in your chat. No special wording is required; be clear about what should change.

Memory isn’t perfect. If he mixes something up, say so. The goal is continuity that feels useful, with room for you to set things straight.

Say it in the conversation.

“Actually, the interview moved to Thursday.”

Correct an old detail when your plans change.

“Please forget where I work.”

Ask him to stop using that remembered detail. The original messages stay in your chat history.

Knowing the context changes the follow-up.

“How did it go?” feels different when you both know what “it” means. Memory can make his next question more specific and the conversation easier to return to.

Each boyfriend keeps his own history with you. Spend time with the same character and give the conversation a chance to become familiar.

Before you say hi.

What can my AI boyfriend remember?

Relevant details you share, such as your name, people in your life, projects, preferences, plans, and recurring jokes. Those details can come back in later conversations with the same boyfriend.

Will he remember every message perfectly?

No. Romio can carry useful details across conversations, but memory is selective and can get things wrong. A quick reminder or correction helps when a detail matters.

How do I correct something he remembers?

Tell him directly in the chat, for example: ‘Actually, my sister’s name is Maya, not Mia.’ You can also tell him when a plan or preference has changed.

Can I ask him to forget something?

Yes. Say what you’d like him to forget in the chat, such as ‘Please forget where I work.’ This changes the details used for future conversation; it doesn’t remove the earlier messages from your visible chat history.

Do memories carry over to other boyfriends?

No. Each boyfriend has a separate conversation and memories with you. A detail you shared with Leo doesn’t automatically become something Noah knows.

Give him a little of your story.

Start with your day. Keep going with someone who can remember why it matters.
