The service and operator

These terms govern your use of Romio at https://romio.app, operated by Monkeyless, based in the Netherlands. Contact: romio@info.app.

Romio provides conversations with fictional AI characters. Responses are generated by AI, not by a human partner, and can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Romio is for entertainment and conversation; it does not provide professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice or emergency assistance.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Romio and meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law. If you are a minor, obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and do not let others misuse your account. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

Do not use Romio for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, sexual content involving minors, fraud, or attempts to bypass safety controls, access another user's data, or disrupt the service. Do not submit material you lack the right to use or sensitive information you do not want processed by the service and its providers.

Your content and AI responses

You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. You permit us and our service providers to process that content to operate, secure, moderate, and personalize your conversations as described in the Privacy Policy. AI responses may not be unique and should not be treated as verified facts. These terms do not grant ownership of third-party material or rights that applicable law does not recognize.

Free and Premium plans

Romio offers a free plan and paid Premium subscriptions. Current pricing, billing intervals, included features, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Premium is subject to usage limits and is not unlimited. Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at checkout until canceled.

You can manage your subscription through Settings → Subscription. Cancellation options and when cancellation takes effect are shown in the billing portal. Account deletion cancels active subscriptions as part of deletion and removes access to the account.

For billing questions, refund requests, or applicable withdrawal rights, contact romio@info.app. Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable cancellation or refund rights, are unaffected.

Availability, changes, and termination

We may maintain or update the service and restrict access for misuse or security reasons. AI replies and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed. Material changes affecting paid access will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the disclosures provided at purchase. You may stop using the service and delete your account through Settings.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at https://romio.app/privacy-policy explains how account information, conversations, and billing information are processed.

Liability and disputes

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We will publish updated terms with an effective date and notify users of material changes where required. Contact romio@info.app with questions or complaints.
